Welcome 2026! I'm hopeful that the year ahead provides some new opportunities for me on both a musical and personal level. I'm experienced enough to know that new opportunities and growth come with their fair share of challenges and as I look ahead to the coming year I know that this won't be any different for me in 2026.
Let's start with the personal. I hope to use this year to try and improve my overall health. This will begin with a likely hip replacement in the Spring. My left this time (the right was done in 2019). The pain has been overwhelming of late and I know if I'm to look at my physical health as a personal goal, the hip will have to be pain free.I also hope to shed a few more pounds. Since COVID I've had some success with this, but I'm really hoping to make a push this year. Again, I need my hip working for this to happen!

Musically, I'm excited about bringing my Springsteen 'Tribute that isn't a Tribute' back to the stage. I've been working with a few theatres already just trying to nail down some dates. Stay tuned for more info on this. Meanwhile, my Tom Jones Tribute with Janis Joplin (Krista Blondin) "Raise Your Hand", is already set for a February 12 'Valentine's Love In' date at The Long Branch Social House. This is a great venue that was sold out last Fall for our first show there. Tickets are currently available at Eventbrite. I'm also thinking of releasing a compilation of original songs from my previous records but stripped down and presented with a more acoustic vibe. There are also a few unreleased tunes that I plan on throwing in.
Every year January 1st, although just a change on the calendar, provides me with new hope. I am indeed an optimist and I suppose I always will be. At least that way, when my hip falls apart or some other health 'thing' happens, or life presents hardships and challenges, I can look at it and think with the right attitude and people around me, I got this!
May 2026 bring good things your way and may the challenges be met with strength and grace! Peace
