2 BIG Events Coming Up
I'm super stoked for the last week of September and first week of October! Did I bite off more than I can chew?!
I don't think so, but the hard work and energy I've put into these two weekends has been quite the ride so far, and now we're heading into the home stretch!
So, first:
On Saturday, Sept. 26th I will once again be MCing and performing at the 3rd Annual Folk n Spoken Word Fest! We are back on the street for this year's event! That's right, Ottawa Street North in Hamilton will be closed off for the Sidewalk Sale and our stage will again be set up at the corner of Ottawa and Argyle! Performances run all day from 11am - 6pm!
Featured artists this year include local songwriter Nicole Christian, along with Ottawa St. faves, The Vaudevillian, powerhouse acoustic duo, Soulmouth and Country/Folk award winning songwriter, Lisa McEwen! Poets and Spoken Word Artists include publishes writer, Valentino Assenza and multiple award winning Mohawk/Tuscarora writer and producer, January Rogers!
The entire is free and family friendly!

Then, second:
On Friday, October 2 and Saturday, Oct. 3, I'll be bringing my Celebrating Springsteen: Unplugged show to Drury Lane Theatre in Burlington. There will be 3 performances to choose from; 8pm shows on both Friday and Saturday as well as a 2pm matinee on Saturday. Matt Horner will be joining me on keys for all these shows while John Johnson and Kristen Prince share sax duties!
Like Springsteen On Broadway, Celebrating Springsteen: Unplugged shares stories about some early songs, and how they forged the foundation of a legend. The show is entertaining, intimate and a musical treat! If you're a Springsteen fan, you'll love it! If you're a music fan, you'll appreciate it!!
tickets available at www.drurylane.ca
In the meantime, all my usual shows at my regular venues are happening and continue to go strong with the support of the people who come out to see me and enjoy live music! Thank you for that.
Keep up to date with the listings on my home page and I'll see you out there, somewhere, sometime. Peace!
