Things have certainly been moving along at a good clip. The Tom Jones & Janis Joplin - 'Raise Your Hand' Tribute played to near capacity crowd at the beautiful Long Branch Social House. The mood in the room was palpable as the audience danced and sang along the whole night! Krista Blondin and I will definitely be doing this show again soon!
Speaking of palpable full houses, The Canadiana was certainly rocking at capacity on Sunday Feb. 22nd when THC - The Theodore Horner Combo celebrated their 4th Anniversary of Sunday Matinee's at the legendary venue! Several special guests joined our duo to add to the musical magic of the afternoon including Chris Ellis on bass, Sean Hearn, who performed a couple of songs, Pat Hearn (aka Sir Pat), who wrote and read a poem for the occasion, our friend Gerry, who did a stellar job of the classic My Way, and last and definitely not least Barenaked Lady Kevin Hearn, who sat in for most of the afternoon on accordion. This was absolutely a special event for anyone who was lucky enough to be there and make no mistake, I feel incredibly blessed to be in the midst of it all. Thanks Matt Horner for 4 awesome years at Canadian Restaurant Banquet Hall.

Things have also been going great at The Ottawa Street Local where my Solo Acoustic Mayhem is picking up speed. Every Friday you can me doing my solo thing where I'll play originals, reimagined covers and requests. heck, I'll even play stuff I don't know! Sometimes. If you're in the Hammer on Friday night and looking for good food and a good time, The Local on Ottawa St. N is the place to be!
Otherwise, The Theodore Soundtrack continues on at Carrigan Arms on the first Saturday of every month. My guest spots at The Beacon in Wasaga Beach, The Falcon Brewery in Ajax and The Uptown Social in Burlington are also on the calendar.
And this October I'm pleased to announce that my Celebrating Springsteen: Unplugged is coming to the Drury Lane Theatre on October 2 & 3. I'll be joined by Matt Horner and John Johnson for this one, as we review the early years of this prolific songwriter in what I like to call a Tribute that isn't a Tribute! More information coming on this soon!
As always check my website for the latest shows and information, or follow Michael Theodore Music on Facebook or Instagram.
Hope to see you out there, sometime, somewhere. Peace!
