The Colourful Season Is Here

As happens each and every year at this time, in these parts, the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting cooler! We all have our own ways of keeping warm during the colder days, and I also have a few suggestions that will find you heating up with good food, seasonal bevvies and warm sounds!!

I'm bringing my trio to a new venue in Brampton! Dum Dum's Sports Bar is under new ownership and they've contacted me to play some gigs there. So, I'll be kicking things off with The Michael Theodore Trio (featuring Matt Horner and Gary Taylor) on Saturday, November 12 from 7-10pm. Dum Dum's is located at 67 George St. in Brampton's old town!

As for some of my more usual venues; I'll be at the official Alley-o closing at Merk Snack Bar on October 15th. This event coincides with the Ottawa Street Brew Crawl and will feature me doing my solo thing around 5:30, followed by a band and then a DJ. Merk is at 189 Ottawa St. North in Hamilton

THC - The Theodore Horner Combo continues our run at The Canadiana. Currently we play every other Saturday, which means we'll be there Oct. 15th and 29th from 1-4pm.

The Sunday Sinners, continue to bang out the classic soul and R&B on the 3rd Sunday of every month at Timothy's Pub (5-9pm), and the 4th Saturday of every month at Dakota's (3-7pm)! Matt Horner, Charlie Cooley, Gene Hardy and I are thrilled to be continuing this long standing tradition!

Speaking of Timothy's, my Annual Food Drive will be happening on Thursday, Dec. 22, 7-11pm. This is my 17th food drive and I'm thrilled to announce that Virgil Scott and Johnny Max are my guests for this year's event!

Lastly, Thursdays with Theodore keeps plugging along at Merk Snack Bar in Hamilton. Great vibe, awesome food, all around coolness. I'm there doing my solo thing on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Bring your requests!

Be safe, take care of yourself and I'll provide the soundtrack!!!

Hope to see you out there somewhere, sometime.
