Success at The Scotia Bank Bed Race

Some of the fine young volunteers at The Scotia Bank Bed Race earlier today. The threat of rain was an early deterrent but the sun did indeed shine and we managed to get all the races in. What a great time. Thanks to all, especially Krista Blondin, for your hard work.

Yours truly was the Master of Ceremonies, while Nightfly and the Kings performed. A special thanks goes out to Maxine Young who made sure I was well taken care of. She is the best!!

Above is the Raceway Crew at the finish line and below the great Jim Casson hamming it up! We cut the day short due to inclement weather but we did manage to get all the races in and Scarlett House Catering defended their championship status again this year! Congrats in the winning the Golden Bed Pan!!
