Soul in Thorold!

Thanks to Brant Parker for having as his guest this past Saturday. The band was awesome featuring some of the best Blues players around. Joel Johnson on guitar was outstanding not only on his instrument but also crooned his way through several numbers. Danny Lockwood kept a fierce beat and saved the day on a few occasions. Neil Nikafor is as solid as they come on bass - and man...he's a super nice guy!! And then you've got Richard Thornton blowin' it up on the sax. What a showman and talent! Brant leads this all star band with all the poise you'd expect from a seasoned pro! I was in good hands for my guesting duties!! The folks at Donnelly's Pub were also amazing. This awesome pub had super food and does live music several night a week. Way to go Thorold!!

Now I'm looking at another night of "I Don't Give A Shuck" Tuesdays at JRed & Co. in Brampton. Drum whiz Charlie Cooley joins me for this night of dollar oysters and 1/2 price bottles of wine! What more can you ask for??
