New for 2016

I'm really looking forward to the next year. Not only will I be continuing to perform throughout the GTA in a solo capacity as well as with Igor Romanyk as the Stone Feathers, but I am soon going to be expanding into the Hamilton area, which is stock full of exciting music venues!

Also in 2016, I will be debuting my Tom Jones tribute show, "It's Not Unusual - A Tom Jones Experience", at The Carrigan Arms in Burlington. The show will be a true tribute whereby the band will be playing strictly Tom Jones material and I will take on Mr. Jones' persona. For this event I have hired some of the best players around. Sil Simone on guitar, Matt Horner on keys, Garth Vogan on bass, David Russell on drums and Larry Bodnar on sax. This has been a long time coming and I must say we will get the house moving come Aug. 20.

New for this year is the addition of Charlie Cooley on drums for my Sunday afternoon session at The Shebeen. Charlie is such a talented and positive musician with loads of experience playing with some real heavy dudes. You may remember Charlie sitting in on percussion at Hugh's Room during my CD Release for In Stride a few years back. I know that the Sundays' Soul Purpose will take on a wonderful new musical direction with Charlie at the kit!

Finally, I am planning to release an EP consisting of 4 tracks that were recorded during the "In Stride" sessions but left off the final CD. These are songs that you may have heard me play during live performances with SOS or on my own at different times. The tracks feature the talents of Rob Gusevs, Gary Taylor, Tom Griffiths and Wayne Deadder with a splash of john Johnson on one of the tunes. Stay tuned for more as this project develops.
