TOP 25 - Thanks!!!

Thanks to the constant and never ending support of my faithful fans I was able to make it into the Top 25 for the Toronto Region in CBC's 2015 Searchlight Contest!! Your votes and support mean so much to me that I can't find the words to express my gratitude!! Which, for anyone who knows me, knows that shutting me up is no easy task!!

The thing is, The Searchlight Contest is, in reality, a popularity contest!! Entrants advance in the early rounds solely through votes. The quality of the music or the recording doesn't come into play until much later in the contest when judges take over. So... the thing that really blew me away was the amount of 'buzz' that was generated by all of you. I received messages from Texas, Australia, Germany and all over Canada, letting me know that there was a large group of people who were really enjoying my entry song, 'Leaving Familiar'. That was the power of YOUR SUPPORT!

Thanks again for your continued belief in what I do and for always showing me the love!
