Michael Theodore Biography
Michael Theodore has carved a name for himself as an energetic performer and an extraordinary crowd pleaser in and around Toronto, Canada over the past few years. A fixture on the local music scene he has also ventured into the Northern U.S. as well as performances in the Dominican Republic and Ireland.
A graduate of the Theatre Program at John Abbott College in Montreal, Michael learned how to use his voice to its maximum potential while gaining an incredible ease and comfort on stage. Combining his passion for music with his confident stage presence Michael has developed into a soulful songwriter and slick performer who is able to entice an audience throughout his well known, marathon sets. His own songs are often the most requested during his shows while his debut CD, The Truth About Love And Tragedy, attracted performances by such renowned artists as Michael Fonfara (Downchild Blues Band, Lou Reed) and the late Richard Bell (The Band).
A natural entertainer from childhood, Michaels' introspective song writing along with his captivating stage presence creates an intimate and honest rapport with his audience. His songs are a testimony to his love of performance and his integrity as an artist while his sincere demeanour between songs offers a true connection with his fans.
